Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Promotes quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization
  • Reports status of Quality compliance objectives and ensuring that targets are achieved
  • Contributes to the compiling and management of a quality budget in such a way that its contributions to the business goals of the company are met
  • Responsible for the effective initiation and completion of all Quality Management System (QMS) activities
  • Evaluates and approves applicable company documentation that affects achieving “ Stakeholder” quality requirements (Stakeholders being; but not limited to, Customers, Owners, and Statutory/Regulatory entities)
  • Ensure the requirement of the Quality Manual are maintained, adhered to, and improved for effectiveness/efficiency
  • Maintains and improves the “ Corrective Action Reporting System” (CAR) to address all issues affecting Quality
  • Identifies relevant quality-related training needs and arranges training to ensure procedures are properly understood, carried-out and evaluated (audited)
  • Persuades reluctant staff to change their way of working to incorporate quality methods
  • Monitors performance by gathering relevant data and producing necessary reports
  • Assists in creating and maintaining detailed work instructions and technical documentation regarding quality
  • Ensures Internal Audits and Management reviews of the QMS are performed on a timely basis
  • Direct activities to ensure all facilities are incorporating appropriate procedures and making active progress to maintain QMS certification per ISO 9001 requirements.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Training, Experience, Skills)
  • Experience in an industrial product manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor’ s Degree and/or equivalent industry experience
  • Organization and Details a must with this position
  • Excellent communication skills required
  • Excellent computer skills required to include Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook, etc.) and Adobe
  • Excellent Technical Writing ability
