Sales Marketing Coordinator

Position Summary

Will support the activities of the Sales and Marketing Department, reporting to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Will be able to work with minimal supervision, able to work individually and as part of a team and use his/hers effective project management skills to meet deadlines.Will think creatively and implement creative ideas, self motivated, displaying good leadership and planning skills and communicate effectively with all personality types.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

 
  • Trade Shows:
  • Coordinates trade show exhibits, promotions, literature, packing and shipping of all trade show materials.
  • Organizes Tradeshow Itineraries and communicates important information with attendees.

 
  • Meetings:
  • Coordinates schools, sales meetings, and promotional programs on-site and  off-site. Understands the company’ s objectives and anticipates needs.

 
  • Advertising:
  • Develops sales literature text and layout.
  • Coordinates the creation and production of sales literature, including but not limited to engineering catalog, product announcements, price lists and product brochures.
  • Coordinates advertising design, placement, schedules and cost with trade publications.
  • Acts as liason with vendors, reviewing proposals, negotiating costs, scheduling proofs and meeting production deadlines. Works closely with graphics designer and printer.
  • Maintains inventory of sales literature.
  • Purchases promotional items for events, keeping track of purchase orders, deadline dates and working within approved budget.

 

 

 

 
  • Reports
  • Generates internal database information such as lists and counts for marketing campaigns.
  • Compiles and produces sales and marketing reports as needed, i.e. ConstructConnect.

 
  • Social Media
  • Develops text and layout for social media, email blasts, website.
  • Supports all sales and marketing activities on WEB, T-Drive, Employee Portal and Social Media.
  • Coordinates email blast marketing schedule according to sales and marketing campaigns to specified markets.
  • Keeps website up-to-date.
  • Monitors and analyzes social media marketing efforts including leads, web and email blasts.
  • Knowledge of Social Media Platforms: LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter.

 
  • Company Historian
  • Maintains inventory of photo work & artwork.
  • Maintains literature and   archive files.
  • Photographs projects when necessary.

 
  • Customer Service
  • Maintains customer database, CRM.
  • Responsible for seasonal mailings, i.e. calendars and chocolates.
  • Responsible for packing and shipping all sales literature to customers, branch offices and sales managers.

 

 

 

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Training, Experience, Skills)

 
  • Bachelors or Associates Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or related major
  • High School Diploma or GED with 3 – 5 years experience in Marketing
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, able to write clearly and informatively
  • Highly organized, strong attention to detail

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. WordPress is highly desirable but not required.
