Technical Product Support Analyst

Summary

The Technical Product Support Analyst is responsible for implementation / installation support, trouble shooting, developing technical instructions, responding to inquiries and making field assessments and exercising independent judgment at airlines or OEMs. The analyst is also responsible for providing technical support for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as communicating effectively with team members within the engineering and customer service departments.

  1. Provides customer support on technical product inquiries, FAA and quality regulations
  2. Reading and analysis of engineering drawings and technical documentation.
  3. Research and determine validity of all requests for RMAs
  4. Answers incoming customer inquiries, and provides assistance as needed.
  5. Become fluent in all aspects of market, customer, and product knowledge for assigned customers.
  6. Will be resource on special plating, custom logos, webbing samples
  7. Develop strong key customer and inter-departmental relationships and trust
  8. Review and provide cost information to outside sales representatives
  9. Work with all departments to identify and eliminate issues that challenge company objectives
  10. Troubleshoot and provide technical guidance including functionality, installation and repair both in person or remotely.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment.  This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Required Education and Experience
  1. High school diploma or equivalent
  2. Three-Five years technical support
