Assembly Mechanic
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Identification of all parts to bills of materials, inspection of machined surfaces and clean items prior to pump assembly.
  • General math skills to include the use of measuring devices (tape measure, calipers, and micrometers).
  • Ensuring that all required ISO documentation is properly filled out and documented during the assembly and/or testing process.
  • Familiar with mechanics tools IE; sockets, wrenches, impact, torques, ETC...
  • Ability to complete work with deadlines to meet customer requirements.
  • Maintain organization of all inventory areas and keep a clean workspace.
  • Performs other duties assigned by management as determined necessary.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Training, Experience, Skills)
  • Experience in an industrial product manufacturing environment
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent people/communication skills
  • Computer literate, general math & computing skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment
Physical Demands and Work Environment
The Assembly Mechanic must be able to stand and or sit for long periods of time, be able to lift at least 75 pounds, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel or crouch, be able to talk & hear and be proficient with the English language in both verbal and written skills. Specific vision requirements are to have close, distance, color, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is frequently required to use hands, fingers, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
