Help Desk Specialist
In this role, you will provide support and maintenance of the network for PC’ s and tablets, printers, phones and other related equipment used to support ongoing operations in our Phoenix facility.  Ability to analyze and prioritize requirements as they related to our internal users and external customers is a key component to achieving success in this role.

Essential Functions:
  • Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk software
  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming tickets and issues related to computer systems, hardware and software
  • Run diagnostic programs to help resolve reported problems
  • Walk users through the problem solving process, if applicable
  • Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings for local work stations
  • Document fixes in ticketing software, for future reference
  • Assist with onboarding of new users to ensure that first day experience is positive
  • Install, test and configure new work stations, peripheral equipment and required software for deployment throughout the organization
  • Maintain inventory of all equipment needed to support ongoing operations
  • Manage new PC setup and deployment using standard hardware, images and software
  • Active directory maintenance
  • Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as needed
  • Well versed in use of Microsoft suite of products

Required Education and Experience

Bachelor’ s degree in IS, Business Communications

2 years of relevant technical experience
